Princess: Glad to hear that you liked the review. I would love to do a band battle, but unfortunately, I've been working crazy hours trying to get off the ground.

Dano, sorry for the delay in my response. I think that should have no problems getting two pedals working with the adpater. If either one is down, the circuit should be closed. I believe you can probably get it working with standard components, but you can't adjust the response, so it may not work depending on your components. My kick pedal works with the regular drum pad inputs. Thanks for the post!

I got my ion about a week ago and I love it. I agree with you about the joints. I saw today that ION is releasing a new optional chain driven pedal for the set. Not available on Amazon yet. I'm not real knowledgeable about electric drum kits but was wondering if you had tried a 2 to 1 1/4" adapter on the drum pedal. I was going to try to do it but wasn't sure if I would hurt the brain. If the bass trigger is truly binary it shouldn't. I did the same with my original rock band drum set for a double bass (1/8" 1 to 2 adapter). Also , do you know what type of trigger compatibilty used on the rest?

Hey Matt...yeh, your "review" was a bit longwinded but I liked it. We have a PS3 and I am the drummer in our band. I was waiting for the New Year to pick up the RB2 drum kit but thanks to your thoughts - and my hubby coming home today and telling me to research THIS kit - I think I'll now be purchasing this. I've been drumming for years though mostly on djembes and congas...I've only been on a full kit now for about 2 years.

As far as your neighbors are concerned, I have 2 kids and play till 11 or 12 at night regularly. I bought a great set of wireless headphones and can rock out til 5AM if I want.

In closing, sorry for my longwindedness (HAHA) and we love RB and are in several "bands". If you ever wanna battle, let me know.

Have a great night and keep on rockin' in the free world.
