That's why I think that HD DVD will gain momementum and supporters because of the cost difference even though Blu-ray initially has more support. Blu-ray has a few very important players that will be hesitant to switch though, namely Sony Pictures and MGM. But maybe if HD DVD sales don't get off to a good start, the tide may turn in Blu-ray's favor, although two of the three players that were supposed to be available for launch have been delayed...
